Need SEO and AdSense advice for my new site

Hey guys, I just put up a website at http://www.laser-hair-removal-report.com and I've tried to build it in such a way that the keywords, code and site structure are relevant to the topic in order to work towards getting a good search engine placement. I have some third party articles on there plus I had an article specially written for the website. I'm going to submit the article to free article websites with links back to the website in order to help promote the site a bit and hopefully improve the pagerank a tiny bit.

What I'd like to know is if you guys think I've optimised the site well enough, what changes you think I could or should make, and whether my AdSense placements are optimal, overkill or inefficient. In particular, I'm curious to know what you think I could do beyond submitting the article to free article sites, in order to get a better search engine placement.

 

Have you tried submission to various directories?

 

i would suggest you to have adsense only in the left bar as i see adsense placement in the top,left,right and in the footer.
This shows that you made the site only for making money from adsense.
For which gogle might penalise your site (well not sure about this)
I have one more suggestion turn your site into a blog and keep adding fresh and unique contents on daily basis with minimum of 2-3 posts. I mean provide useful information to the visitors. That would make your site more genuine. Just be honest to google.
