    looks pretty good, however i would remove the extra one you have in footer of the homepage.

    My recommendations - On left hand side, between Site Navigation and # of user online, place a similarly looking link ad unit. Between the login box and Recent Threads, place a horizontal text/image ad unit. On a thread page, place a horizontal link ad unit between first and second post, and if the thread has more than 1 page, place a link unit between the last-1 and last post.

    Forums are tough for adplacement.. because you don't want to annoy your frequent members who go there. But I agree, the best place would be in the footer area, don't place them between posts because it's annoying.. you don't want to drive members away !

    I think I read somewhere that webmasters dont click on adsense ads. I think thats true. My CTR is really low

    That`s right, i also don't click any ads, you may use CPM paying ads or promote, webmastertools as an affiliate. That might increase your earnings.
