Need some software

I’m just not sure how to describe what I am looking for but I need software to create three columns of text/photos on both sides of a standard 8.5 x 11 page in landscape. My plan is to create small sales flyers that can be folder-somewhat similar to a map-and have them printed by the local business office store on quality glossy paper. Anyone know anything that might work? Thanks.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like you just need some tables created? If you are using a program that allows for HTML code, I could show you how to do it for free. However, I doubt that any "design" program will allow html. You could easily create what you're looking for in Photoshop with the standard tools.

 

Photoshop was something I had considered, need to get a copy anyway, but wondered if there was a word processor that would do the same thing.

 

You might want to take a look at scribus, which is open source page layout program:

I used it to design business cards for my parent's business, and I think that is a decent option for its commercial alternatives.
