Need suggestion to overcome costly shipping fee

    Greeting all,

    I am not American but would like to sell goods through Amazon and Ebay.
    I found that it's quite costly if i am going to ship the product from my country to US.

    So, is there any service/advice that can lower down my shipping cost?
    Or is it possible for me to bulk ship all my goods to US and rent a store, then everytime my product sold, i will use US's mailing service to send out my goods?

    Hope you guys can share your exp if you done this before.

    I know that Amazon offer a service such as this for the UK - Fulfillment by Amazon so I'm sure that they offer a US equivalent :)

    Yep, you will not able to ship each products to US because that way's expensive. The thing you could do is contract with some one in US and rent a warehouse. Then ship your products to US and store there. Then, you will sell through Amazon or Ebay and mail the order to the partner in US to ship products to you.

    What countries are you in specifically?

    And i know there are tons of cheap product from china. But if i am gonna send all the product 1 by 1 to US/UK, it's gonna kill me.

    Can you guys suggest wht keyword should i google? coz i would like to find alternative on other service

    Ha, I have an idea for you. You may want to ship the item as a gift to US. I know some of Hong Kong people do this for a long time. They send item as a gift to U.S. and sending as a gift cost $0. Now, you can charge handling fee or just ship the product with free shipping. If you need set up online store or help with ebay templates, or anything, email me or my website magentoplazza dot com.     Send a thousand items over to the United States and keep them there. Bulk shipping will easily save you around 50% as opposed to mailing stuff separately, even after you pay someone to keep an eye on your merchandise here in the US and mail it out to end clients. It will both save you money and encourage you to do a lot of marketing since all your stuff is already overseas.

    if your inventory is very high and your sales are high, you could rent a warehouse in the US. Otherwise, I suggest you focus on drop shipping.

    no one is going to send your packages for free. :rolleyes:
    sending it as "a gift" has to do with duty fees.
