I am planning to start a website about ebooks (a specific niche in that), so it'll be like any normal ebook sharing site.

So which CMS should I go for? I am planning on making the main page of the site in wordpress with a forum (most probably SMF) as the forum, necessary for such a site.

    Thanks in advance.

If you have not looked at ExpressionEngine, it may be worthwhile looking at. It does cost money and has a longer development curve than Wordpress, but I think you gain in integration, flexibility, and product stabilty. Let me know what you think.
