    If it goes well, then you should definitely pay without a doubt. Then again if she is obviously not interested and only in it for the meal, then go 50/50

    This will depend of cultural customs
    There are countries where each one pay and let her pay for. While in other, men might pay the bill to give some attention to other person or polite reasons
    For me if you pay you are a gentleman
