Never, Never Buy a hosting from JustHost.com

his is important for anyone who is having a web hosting server with www.justhost.com DO NOT BUY a hosting space from them. We have around 80 websites running with http://www.justhost.com/ and we run into trouble and we the problem was there for more than 2 days and we have talked to them and chatted with them more than 10 times, But simply they are not putting their effort to fix our problem.

Our websites stopped functioning every 10 minutes and when we approached the most pathetic point is, they are asking us for tracerout. It is very obvious for anyone who knows a little about hosting that the problem is with mysql server going down once in every 10 minutes, instead of fixing the correct problem, they cheating us as if we don’t know anything about hosting.
Never, Never Buy a hosting from JustHost.com, They will make you to cry & beg and still they will not solve the problem.

So far I have only heard good words [well marketed?] about JustHost. Thanks for the fair warning coming from a real customer.

I was going to join their affiliate program as they paid like $125 a sale for volume but I decided to do some reading and saw their poor reviews so decided to stay away.

    Thanks for the review.

May "word of mouth 2.0" make them mend their ways.

I've been with HostGator since 2007 and have had great success with them. Recently I've done some sites which were hosted on Media Temple and so far they've been great as far as customer service and fixing issues.

My Phusion Passenger installation for deploying my Rails apps was consuming too much memory and they gave me a ring to help me fix the problem. They didn't just shut me off like many hosting companies do for their lower-end hosting package holders. I highly recommend them.

I've been with JustHost for 2 years. No problems whatsoever. It's not fair to urge everyone not to use them just because you're having a problem with them. I actually recommend it, because it's quite good and quite cheap. That's my 2 cents, and no, they are not paying me to post this.

@Hollow, agreed that one bad experience doesn't mean that they're no good. Not all support personnel are equally customer service-oriented and you may on occasion run into bad service.

Also, if you're at fault for doing something in violation of their TOS you can't be mad at them for not rushing to help you out or for disabling your hosting. It also helps if you accurately describe the problem to them and follow their procedures for submitting a trouble ticket.

I know a couple people hosting their sites on JustHost and they like it and recommend it. Any web host out there is going to have mixed reviews - even HostGator.

I do not understand why people always try new hosting services and do not stick to the old one which have a good reputation behind them such as hostgator, mediatemplate etc. Thanks for warning about those hosting company.

I never had a problem with justhost. You have 80 websites. That's a lot. What hosting do you use. Shared, VPS or dedicated?

even i use justhost, but did not face any problem yet.i think you can go with dedicated servers when you are managing 80 websites.

I've had a past with justhost and either was I too happy with their services. Try mediatemple or slicehost they are much better options.
