Hat's dipped to you Shoe' - Not been a member long but this forum is 'Crackerjack' for good honest quality advice and it appears that this form of PM'ing seems pointless if the information is of relevance then just say so in the post.

'The answer my friends is blowing in the wind' :~)

Great rule, loads of posts have great titles but when you start reading them they have no content, just a message saying send a PM. Very annoying!

I like this part, as I think it was the easiest way to spam, and introduce fake programs

So what happens when a happy trigger mod, decides to give you a 5point(spamming) infraction for abiding by the rules, just because others don't like you or the program you are running ?

Where do the "Report Post" go to ?
Are all mods updated when Rules change ?

Do mods actual read the whole thread that gets reported or just the report and based on that, if its written well, you get the infraction ?

Is there a method in place, where we mere mortals can contact or send questions to Mods, whether that might takes weeks or not, it would be nice to get to the bottom of any incident that might arise, so as members we wont fault again etc...

Whoops.. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to reply to those posts... I'm still pretty new. Hope I don't recieve an infraction for my error. Honestly I'm such a n00b I don't even know what an infraction is (on here at least, I know the meaning of the word) Oh well I'll just keep reading and learning! Cheers :p

You will probable ban me or something for speaking what I think is right.

As a moderator of these forums, your personal opinions should not reflect how you deal with threads.
If you have or had any other reasons you should have said so, then I wouldnt feel this way to have to make a post.

I applaud this rule, there are too many variations of this tactic, link bait, pm bait, padding, etc. this board needs more mods some days. Minus the above, DP rocks.

you should check first the reputation of the thread starter, if he is new DP user with <30 posts, then it's very likely that he'll send you some crap by PM

I love this rule. If the program you are with is so great and you love it so much and it is reputable you don't need to hide anything just say what it is about and let the readers decide if they like what you have to offer they will investigate on their own without the need for stealth. We can all decide for ourselves if something is worth persuing if given enough information.

Doesn't really matter. People continue to post these links. Reps (like Chitika) break the rules all the time. No one seems to care.

I agree. That really does cause a lot of spam. Good rule. This should be on every forum.
