New Blog site, need review

It is not much yet though.

http://www.vizuke.com/blog I made it through Blogger.com and will change the layout eventually. I need some reviews for tips, or any other constructive criticism. Also, is my adsense placement violating Google's TOS such as the icon placement next to the ad (since I've seen many people done this) and is my content against the TOS?

Thanks for the tip, I have added a border between the graphics and the ads. Not sure if Google still allows it like this but what everyone is saying from that thread, it should be legal.

I went ahead and added another long vertical banner along the right side navigation column. What do you think? I am only getting about 1 click per day only. Do I need tot be more careful on what keywords I use when I write an article?

Vizuke, I think your ads (esp. the ad block on top) are pretty prominently displayed and should work well. Make sure you add ads to the individual posts, too, though. I don't know about your blog, but the majority of my traffic comes to the back pages.

Also, change the URL configuration, if that's possible in the settings. Right now, your addresses are not SEO friendly. You have http://www.vizuke.com/?p=9 when you want something like http://www.vizuke.com/technology/Microsoft-Zune-iPods-new-rival.htm which is far more SE friendly.

    Good luck!

Thanks very much for the tips. I went ahead and added an adsense code to the bottom of each article's page as well as added the navigation sidebar to each of them to with a vertical ad on the side just like the main page. I'll wait a few days to see what outcomes will this give me.

Try move your adsense sidebar format above the navigation. Hopefully, you'll get more clicks ;)

Well, I didn't move the sidebar ad on top of the navigation because it seems a little weird and new visitors might get lost because they don't see a navigation but only ads. Anyways, after a day of adding adsense on each single article page, my CTR is still somewhat the same but traffic increased for some reason. Not sure if it is my content that is attracting more visitors. The last few days, it increased as below.

    August 24 - 12 Uniques
    August 25 - 26 Uniques
    August 26 - 55 Uniques

I'm not quite sure how this happened though and if I knew, it would be helpful. Anyways, I'm looking to get more traffic into my site and hopes this continues.

Well, after a week, my traffic is constantly the same and adsense is starting to pitch in more than when I have started when I firsted posted this thread. I have added a page, http://www.vizuke.com/links-affiliates/ . I don't know if the placement on this page is acceptable by the Adsense TOS, if anyone knows, please say so. Also, the advertisements interchangebly changes font size depending on how many links are on the unit (ranging from 2 to 4), if there are any tips on resizing my font-size to match it, how would I do so? Thanks.
