I don't want my blog to look like a giant ad. I want it to be much more about the content. I currently have it so the link unit is in the first post and I have one ad unit banner in the side bar.

I'm having trouble displaying more than one ad banner. If I wasn't, then I would probably stick another in the header under the grey box. Ah, well. I'm waiting for google to get back to me.

I have a thread on it here.

Anyway, reviews are highly welcome. Is it TOO understated? Is it TOO Ad-riddled?

I don't know if it is possible for you to do, but I would move your nav bar to the left side of the page. Since people read from left to right, placing a nav bar with ads on the left usually increases your CTR

I can't do that with this plugin since I'm pretty code-inept. However, I did figure out the snafu I had with placing ads at the top so there are some there now.
