    Hi Bobmuch and Mia,

    Both of you are correct.

In IE the text is white as shown by bobmuch, however in Mozilla its coming as blue as shown by Mia.

    All the best!

Ok, then I guess I need 6 new monitors. My iBook, my PC laptop, my eMacs, my 22" View Sonic, should I go on? All of them view this way in both FireFox and Safari... Blue on Blue. The active link looks to be red. It looks to me like the HTML is not browser friendly. I don't use IE, but I gather it looks fine with that ancient browser :)

Anyway, not a knock. Just trying to help. Again, in Safari and FireFox it comes out Blue on Blue.

Mai: At least 70% of people still use the "ancient browser" you speak of and IE works fine one my G3 Mac also (although I have FF, NS, Opera, Moz, Safari & Camino installed also). I would say if it gives you blue on blue in IE on your Mac yes you want to take a look at all those monitors.

Sorry man. It's your code, not the monitors. If you only want 70% of the net populous to see your page correctly, I guess that is your purogative. Personally I would fix the HTML :) I can tell you what is wrong if you would like.

It's not my monitor, its the code...

Not to add insult to injury or injury to insult :) , but...

Just got a new Acer Aspire Laptop today (replaced my old Toshiba) yeah, I have to use a PC sometimes. Works better than VPC.

Anyway, I checked out the site using FireFox on a PC with XP Pro, and had the same problem. Blue text, blue background.

After looking with IE I have found that the page only works with IE on a PC that is to say the white text/blue background.

I have yet to find any other browser regardless of OS/platform that shows anything other than blue/blue.

The problems lies in the style sheet BTW.

    If you just add:

    <BODY TEXT="#FFFFFF" BGCOLOR="#003366" LINK="#FFFFFF"
    VLINK="#EEEEEE">

    Code (markup):
after the <head> you will find that the site will work with every browser on every OS, and every screwed up monitor :)

    Hope this helps. Take care.

Mia: Yep if it displays blue on blue on FF, NS, Moz, Opera, Camino, Safari or any others it should be fixed.
