New forum - what niche?

Hi all DP members.
Im thinking of new forum creation but I wanted to ask maybe someone can tell me in what niche better make it- for example, seo, health, sport etc. maybe someone can help me.

You should 100% do it in a niche you are passionate about.

I wouldn't even consider it otherwise - it will bore you to death!

Well, Webmaster forums would sure rip some Good for you..! Well if you have no knowlege about it, then leave it or if you know something then you can start on it. Well i too will be with you..!

Make sure you Buy a Vbulletin license and start the forum in Vbulletin Or use Phpbb others really sucks it seems

 

Niche is a only one particular category for business. suppose health care, real estate and another type of business. means only one business related sites or a web directory.

 

Just go with a niche that you're interested in. It would suck running a forum based on something that you have no idea about.

 

Ask yourself the question "what am I most found of, most passionate about, and what I love doing ?"

 

possibly that of my health, because I am a doctor, so that we can exchange experience and the latest medical science.

 

If I were you I would actually make a forum with multiple niches. Staying in one niche will limit your market quite drastically. General Talk has the largest possible market and it will be actually easier to market the site to the general public. Just look how many posts are in the General Talk section here!

 

Just be careful not to bury yourself in bodies and bodies of work. Don't go too broad with your niche.
