    The last year or so I have seen trending website businesses that target or niche to just a particular geographical area. Curious to hear examples of what you do (have done), and what's worked (not worked) for your business model.

    There are obvious pros and cons to a local market and a global market.

    The reason for this thread is that I want to offer my expertise with event coordinating and social media projects, and would love to hear you thoughts and suggestions. I would like to target just my local area, rather than just offer my services to anyone online as I have done in the past.
