New Scam?

I started getting these emails to place print ads in well known newspapers. The rates are quite reasonable but something is definately fishy. I'm 99% sure the person you pay has nothing to do with the newspaper in question and just runs off with your money

(Of course no phone number supplied)

By another strange coincidence - I also get spam email claiming to help men who have problems emptying their sacks. :D

What you do is visit the website and do a who-is search on it to see how old the site is.

Then you do a google and yahoo search to see how many pages are indexed and how many times it is referenced. If the results that show up are the actual website pages stay away. That means the paper if it even exists is quite obscure.

Then do the same search but add in 'scam' or 'ripoff' or 'spam'
