    I'm also a newbie, but I think you could try to experiment with other color. Perhaps pick colors which match your site theme....

    As others have mentioned the banner at the top next to your earningstricks logo match the background color and border color to the header banner so it blends in better.

    I'd integrate another couple of banners in with the content on that main page. Currently you're showing 3 posts if you're only ever going to have 3 posts I'd mod the template so that a adsense banner displays either above or below the clickable title of each post, again blend the color to match the background and the same color links as on your site. Investigate the CSS file if you need to grab the correct HEX code to match it.

    I would consider removing the banner at the top and small rectangle at the bottom in lieu to place 3 ad blocks in the content that you have posted there. I think you'll see a better CTR then with your current positions.
