New Site...placement critques appreciated!

http://www.life-organic.org is my newest venture and just wanted a review on my placement. I didnt want to go overboard so I really only have 1 or 2 ads per page, some pages dont have any at all. Is the linkbar at the top any good? Sorry I cant post livelinks yet.

 

I like the link unit and the top ad unit.
I'd get rid of the bottom one and maybe I'd integrate a skyscrapper inside the box.

 

The link unit at the top is fine. I tend to use the large box ad format rather than the leaderboard you used.

I'd also suggest placing an ad unit some where in the left hand links.

 

i think you should make the adsense backround the same color as your website background

 

Hmm..I cant tell the difference on mine..Ill look into that. Thanks for the critques everyone.

A couple of things to consider:

1. If this site template came from one of those sites you can buy that provide sites for making money with AdSense, be aware that there are thousands of them out there. You can be penalized or overlooked for acceptance if you have a site that is duplicated.

2. If the site is not one of the above mentioned sites, but is to be populated by one of those free article sites... make sure you read the site's term of use... most have set limits on how many articles you may use for your own site.
