New to Adsense, advise please

Hi every one,

I am new to adsense and have a couple of questions.

If I want to put an adsense site, can I keep it under my main domain name like www.mydomain.com/football or I have to keep it in sub-domain like www.football.mydomain.com ?

Will search engines accept submitting an adsense site addressed www.mydomain.com/football or I must have a separate domain for the adsense site ?

What about sitemap for the above adsense site ?

It shouldn't matter whether it's a sub domain or not.

 

You can put your adsense code on any or all of your sites and pages.
You cant submit mydomain.com/football to search engines, you can submit mydomain.com.
A sitemap is a sitemap, doesnt matter if its adsense or not on the site/pages.

Taking here about a dedicated adsense website, what I understood is:

- I can create an information website, let’s say about “football” and add
adsense code to it.
- Put that site under my main domain (www.mydomain.com) so it
will be like www.mydomain.com/football
- Beside the available sitemap for the main domain website, I can make
another sitemap for the football adsense site.
- I can submit my www.mydomain.com to search engines and directories
BUT I can not submit www.mydomain.com/football to search engines
and to directories.

Hope I got the full picture, but why we can not submit the football adsense site to the search engines and how surfers will find that football adsense site when doing a search about football for example?

adsense will not care the url of your site.

it will only check your site content is ok with tos or not
