    Hi guys. Just started my blog this week and google approved my adsense today.

    I would like some opinions on my blog and placement of ads etc. because I just read about how you can get banned from adsense for putting adsense by images.

    Hopefully I am not currently violating any TOS and if I am please let me know.

    See why you are not getting any replies ,cause its better to search before posting because there are many forums related to your topics you'll get more tips than few members posting here.

    anyway my suggestion is change the theme,your theme looks dull.
    I guess you are not voilating the TOS.

    You are not violating any rules. Keep this as it is now for few days and after that remove the adsense which is at the bottom of your page and instead of that place a square ad content inside your blog content ( at the centre of your page) and then see the changes which best fits for your income.
