    Funny as hell, sort of like thinking that a snowball in hell is a great concept :p :D

    It is the same story as I linked to where the kid actually stole content from the other forum and then promoted his new forum on the forum he stole the content from, just not as bad as that guy :p

    PS: Shawn can I copy your blog and put my name on it, this may be an opportunity to franchise your stuff under private label.

    Well, to be fair, he's not stealing content... just design. And when it comes to webmaster forums, there are a somewhat limited number of topics.

    I had the layout/forums for my PsychLinks forum lifted as well, although it sort of mutated as time went on into something else.

    Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery? :D

    Well he is just a young kid or he would not have copied the index page of this forum nor come here to promote it, so I guess you just have to warn him that he is in violation of copyright laws, because he is in fact.

    It is kind of Shawn to even let this guy post the thread, if it was my forum I would delete all who come to promote forums here.

    I know well what happened when the guy I linked to stole forum content, that forum owner let it go a bit too far as far as letting this member promote his forum, turns out he was copying word for word then came back to promote the stolen content on the forum he stole it from.

    How stupid can folks be :confused:

    What he got out of the deal was a good thread after he banned the guy as you can see if you read it.

    I would start being more aggressive in watching folks that come on forum to self promote other forums specifically.

    When did that happen? :eek: Well, after seeing that, I had no choice but to actually use that Buddy list/vote for you for the first time...

    One question, though: What is the point of the Buddy List? Do I get money every time you post now? Or Coop weight? :D

    The buddy list is actually one of the forums best features, you can PM all your buddies the same message at the same time if you want them to see a hot thread.

    Also it tells you which of your buddies are online in one view. :eek:

    I like the buddy list because it places a little + sign next to the names on your buddy list, when you look at who's online so you can find out quickly those who you need to identify quickly at a glance.

    Yeah but on some days these guys could make a hell of a lot more pan handling on the sidewalk versus making comedy :eek:
