    Hello all,

I previously use adsense on a free blogspot and I recently tried to have my own website. I need suggestion and reviews if the ads placements, background, etc already at best.

    Thanks in advance :)

    typical standard placements.

Try it out for a month and see what your earnings are like. Then maybe try something different. If that doesnt generate the same amount, switch back.

Alot of it is trial and error.

    wew... that was fast

Thanks, I know it's so typical  ... but may I ask you, which one is better image ads or text ads? Cause I see after I change it to image, the ads is less relevan to the content. Also I saw from my account, the channel for the image ads much much cheaper then the text ads, is that so?

If yours is a brand new website and ad-sense account, you wont get very targetted ads for now because Google probably doesnt know much about your site.

After you've been crawled the ads will become more focused.

As for price, it can depend on many factors. When you show text ads there are 4 in the row or vertically (typically) so that 4 advertisers.
Again its very much a case of trying out what works. So people like to mix and match, others rotate them, others keep one sort.

I've not used adsense in a while myself (on the account of being screwed by Google) but from what I've read and friends comments, it can depend widely on a per-site basis.
