hello everyone! I am new here in DP and also to the online job world. I am confused whenever someone asked me how much is my rate with a specific blog commenting or forum posting. Can you help me out guys? What is the newbie rates or the average rates? :)

Yeah it's a regular price in BST section but if you are providing high quality service then you can decide the price of your service ,,because there is not fixed rate ..You are 100% independent in your business.

    Good luck!

Sometimes it's better to determine how much you need to make, rather than how much everyone else is charging. If everyone else's rates would be unprofitable for you, then it doesn't make sense to lose money on your work, just because everyone else is doing it.

Just a thought . . . being a newbie, you might want want to start off at a lower rate so you can prove what you can do. Kind of an introductory rate.

Thank you all for the response. I really need it. All points are taken but being a newbie, I must be charging a newbie rate and show to all that I can do what everyone can do. If I consider myself an expert, it is then that I can offer myself at a higher rate than the newbie rate. :)

True, that. You have to remember that their are people from different Countries here. The price that works for one might be totally different than the other, because of the cost of living in their specific location.
