    Hello everyone,

    My name is Syia and I have 2 skills I think that I can use to generate money online that is writing and video editing. I usually do video editing at my university. But I have one difficulty. How can I start do my service business? I really have no idea where to start. Can DP forumners help me ?? Give me some guidelines. I will really appreaciate if anyone doing a freelance in service business to share some knowledge..

    Are you able to do the video editing at home? If you are using the school's software, they might prohibit you from earning money with their software.

    Have you created a website to advertise your video editing capabilities?

    Being in school - myspace might be popular in your area. Consider that because a lot of people are always trying to figure out how to put videos up on myspace, etc

    actually I use my own computer at home and also i didn't yet do any website to publish my work. which should come 1st? get a customer from forum example and after that i do a website?

    myspace? do you mean helping them upload video?

    Hi,

    It will be very hard to get into this for decent money.

    I have alot of friends in the music/video editing industry and it's very tough to get into something good.

    Your best bet is to look locally for work. You may need to relocate to somewhere that is known to do alot of movie/tv productions etc.
