Niche

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this under, but i would like to know what you guys think is like the best niche to start off with? I want one that could easily get members, but i really don't know what is doign good or not, so i'd like someone experienced to assist me if possible.

 

This is a question you kind of have to sort out for yourself. There are some good research tools at seochat.com. The overture keyword tool will show you the amount of searches in a month for a keyword that you type in. They also have a tool for keyword difficulty that tries to estimate how hard it is to break through on particular keywords.

My best advice is to use these tools and start a site about something you are either interested in or knowledgeable about.

First, look around your.. What is this? Do you habby any hobby? Maybe you love radio control cars, and you can start a website on this way, first time is easy to start with something that you know...

Well the reason i asked was because i read this article somewhere saying that making a site that you like isnt really gonna mean that other people will like it. I mean i like anime and stuff, and i was thinking about making an anime site, but i dont know if lots of people woudl like it or it will just cost me money to put it up

No one would suggest a niche to you, as you would be competition for them. To start off with, I think your best starting with subjects which are of interest to you ie. hobbies and sports you play, etc.

When you become more experienced then you can get involved in more lucrative areas.
