    Although this site is new, it is already getting some traffic. However my adsense has not converted even a single click. I thought the placement would be decent, but now I'm really wondering.

    Any ideas would be great,

    I think, you need to trial and error. do different placement and then check results. i recommend you change site design and put adsense code on top.
