Not relevant ads in forum

    Hi,

This is my first post here. I am new in Adsense (just 6 days old). I put adsense code in almost every page in mysite. I created some channels to know which of the most popular pages bring more clicks and I saw that although all the pages show relevant ads (my site deals with table tennis), the forum show ONLY irrelevant ads.

The forum is the second most visited place in my site and I would like to know how can I get relevant ads in there. Any idea?

    My site is: www.tabletennis.gr

P.S. Buy the way till now I have 6,5K page impresions which give $15/day (..not good I suppose)

    Thanks,

    Denis

i think it's still too early to tell. mine took about a week before it started showing blog ads (before that was only PSAs), and about 10 days after that to show ads that are relevant to my latest postings.

your's looked like adsense took the cue from your domain name, "gr".

15 a day is a good start, remember it's only 6 days with adsense...You can only go up! :)

It looks like it's picking up your content okay at this point. How about your forums? it doesn't look too relevant there, I bet you can SEO them up a little bit to target better. Also the .gr does appear to affect it.

The forums don't take target ads at all. I don't know how to change this situation. Every other page in my site works ok. What you mean with SEO? (..not know the terminology cause I am newbie).

If the .gr doesn't affect it, why all of the ads in the forum are from Greece?

    Thanks.

I would do a search on the site where you got your board from for "search engine optimization" and see if they have any modifications for it, most do. What this will do is make it so the search engines are able to pick up on what's posted in the thread and thread titles.

SEO is a must-learn if you want traffic to your site (and hence clickies). there's a sub-forum on SEO here at DP. hop over, it's awesome. :)
