Oh God, It's Monday!!

This thread is in lieu of my Thank God It's Friday Thread

Who here have a Love-Hate relationship with Mondays? This is how I see it, Monday makes my rest day so short and it makes my work week so long. Also, I have a lot of catching up to do (this is challenging esp when you have a hangover ). LOL The only time I love this day is when it's payday haha! I get paid every other Monday, that clearly shows my Love-Hate Relationship with this day.

I want to hear from you guys!! Happy Monday everybody!!

 

I always waiting for Sunday. Because it's my praying day.

 

I don't mind it because I make work part of my identity.

 

Not a bad day so far. I've been able to find a lot of time to get ahead on projects that had been pending.

How's everyone else so far?

 

So far, Monday hasn't been nice. Dang I am drained! I still have a couple more hours to go It has always been like this but I never get used to it. LOL

 

Drink COFFEE and power through it!!

 

I have to admit that I do not care so much for Mondays. Mondays start creeping up on me late Sunday afternoon or early evening, many times. And, I always start one of my seemingly never ending diets on Monday, leaving an even more bitter taste in my mouth regarding the day.

Mondays do not mean the same thing to everyone, of course. This weekend, someone was mentioning a firefighter's weekly work schedule in our town. He works 24 hours, gets 24 hours off, then works another 24 hours. He is then off for five consecutive days. It is a rolling, eight-day schedule. Keep in mind that working 24 hours, while hard, is not without sleep as they sleep eight hours during the period, barring interruptions from emergency calls. The schedule (not the dangerous work) sounded attractive, actually. Monday means a whole lot less on that schedule, of course.

 

So you have Monday off and start the work week on Tuesday? Do you have Saturday and Sunday off, too?
