    Folks, I've been tooling around with placement and formats for adsense and have seen some modest improvements here and there. I'm at what seems to work best for me right now, but it doesn't feel quiet right...

    Is your CTR not as high as you think it should be? Because I don't have too many recommendations. It looks like you've got that top ad square centered by some white space so it stands out nicely. You might get more mileage out of putting the tower on the left instead of the right (since people read left to right it'd probably get noticed more often), but it's up to what you want to do with your design.
