Old Content Question

    Not sure if this is the correct category for this post. My aplogies if I error.

    10 years ago I had a site that I closed but can still find archived in the WayBackMachine.

    The content was original then and posted new by me.

    I am wondering if Google would penalize me for adding the old content to my new and only site?

    This is more a question for the SEO section.

    And to be honest I would not know the answer at your question. But what I would recommend is just rewrite 20-30% of your text then it is 'original' for sure. This is maybe required anyway due new information and you migh need to optimize the text for keywords.
