OMFG 100+ uniques/minute.

Someone posted my site on xxhttp://corner.nationalreview.com/ and my stat counter is screaming. 500 uniques in 5 minutes.

 

Nice, did you approach them at all or was it a nice surprise?

 

No, I was just checking stats and all of a sudden they started screaming up about 15 minutes ago. 1300 uniques & 6000 page loads in the last 15 minutes.

I've never even heard of that site, why is it so popular?

 

I've never hear of it either, but I'm upto 40,000 pages views and 7500 uniques. My adsense earning are through the roof.

They should be able to track where the traffic is comming from no?

 

I don't think so. The code is in java. I wouldn't risk geting terminated. A few members on these boards have been terminated after being bombed with visitors and then put back in after a few weeks of Google checking it out.

Yeah, you're right, just used to not posting direct links. I changed it.

As for my secret, I have no clue I was checking my stats and all of a sudden they went wacko, evrytime I refreshed the uniques were up by 10.

I wish I knew, one of the editors seems to have posted it. I had no clue.

The site has an alexa rating of just over 3,000 and gets massive traffic. My mind is boggled.
