    y u no do it?

    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

One day, this will happen

Someone will post "Check my site, no damn adsense on it"

Or "I built this site without adsense"

We are seeing too many sites built around adsense, and most are crappy!
What happened to building a site that looks good for visitors, building a site without worrying about income?

Google really should eliminate those huge skyscrapers, rectangle and square ads.
Make everyone use text link ads, banner ads.

And most importantly, only allow ONE adsense ad per page.

Then maybe everyone will go back to building websites that are not just a place to dump adsense.

    IMHO

There you go. A site built for a reason besides income, I'm feeling you man.

Of course who has the time to build a website if it's not going to profit them in some way.

If there wasn't ppc there would just be less content and more affiliate links everywhere.

come on, his mfa-sites dont have any "content". in best case they use free content from some article directories or display google-results for some predefined keywords, i worst case they just steal YOUR content.

Yes but that doesn't mean that just because MFA sites exist, adsense is bad. Although adsense does reduce the quality of a lot of sites, it probably increases quality of a lot of sites as well.

If there are a specific number of people trying to make money online, say 1 million, and most use adsense, taking away adsense won't solve the problem, they will just look into at other things like affiliate programs etc.

Obviously MFA sites with no content are bad but surely (as a worst case example) you'd prefer reproduced content adsense sites to sites subtly recommending you to buy something everywhere you went.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I don't build my sites solely for adsense, but I do think that without adsense or some form of revenue (if you're not selling a product or serivce) things wouldn't work. Some sites need adsense to maintain themselves, but if the site is build for adsense, I say scrap the scrapper.
