Hey guys... it appears that the hurricane has screwed up Donna's life a bit. She is a friend and I know a lot of people on this board know her.

Let's all pray that things get better for her and her family.

I would definately suggest reading her blog entries. They really were a great read as it shows a side you may not see on the news

 

I'm confident that what DD needs most right now is access to cash over the next few days and weeks.

I see there is a donation button on http://www.seo-scoop.com/.

She has helped many of us a great deal, including me. I'm making a donation in appreciation of her time and ask all of her friends here to do so as well.

Let's see if we can take at least one worry off her shoulders for now.

Dazzlindonna, one of the best Google SEOs and a frequent contributor to this board needs help. She and her family are victims of Hurricane Katrina. Read her blog: www.seo-scoop.com for the whole story.

Thankfully they escaped bodily harm, and are safe in temporary quarters. Donna is not one to ask for help as I’m sure her close friends would acknowledge. But money won’t hold out forever.

Donna has given a great deal of her time and expertise to helping many of us here at DP, including me. I see that she has a “if you like this site make a donation” button on her site. (www.seo-scoop.com)

I’ve made a contribution and ask the SEO community to do so as well.

We need to care for our own, especially for those who have given so much to the world of SEO.

Good thing she is ok. At least I've read it from the people who are there themselves that the local leaders never failed to do the best they can.

Donna logged into SEO chat w/ a couple of quick updates. They are safe and removed from their home for the time being. She received a number of donations through SEO Scoop...enough to carry them over for a while.

Good work friends. Donna has helped many of us over the years. She will probably provide some periodic updates on SEO Scoop and at SEO Chat when she has the time.
