    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Only with Adsense can someone be excited over a couple of dollars.

OK, so yeah... I'm excited over a little less than $5. So sue me. ;)

I have Adsense running on a variety of sites, and I really don't make much at all with it. I make my money through my service business and writing instead. Of course, monetizing my sites better wouldn't hurt anything.

So I've been playing with my marketing site's ad integration (www.allinfoaboutmarketing.com), with the help of a few members' feedback here in another thread a little while ago. I'd made some changes to the ads appearing on the article pages (like http://www.allinfoaboutmarketing.com/index.php?page=42) just this morning, and I've already made $4.40 almost entirely from this site, which usually brings in next to nothing. I get very little traffic and really don't put much time into marketing them b/c I'm more concerned with growing the content right now. The biggest change was just moving from a square ad to a medium rectangle, and then I added the border back on.

The main change I made the first time was on general pages (like the home page), modeling the featured articles to look similar to the adsense ads below them, and blending the colors. It had a positive effect, but not nearly as much as this smaller one. :)

I also added half banners to two blog posts on the main page, and will continue to do so.

If anyone else had suggestions of how I can improve those particular things, I'd love to hear them. :)

I'm testing something else on the Small Business site (www.allinfoaboutsmallbusiness.com). If you look in any of the topic pages in the left column nav (sorry for the skeleton pages, but it's "officially" not live on the network while I'm building it now) I've got the basic layout using the adsense ads as sponsored links (I'm also added manual ones above them). I tried to integrate them there as best as I could, even though I know the font sizes will change with the number of ads there. I'm planning to make my other two sites on this network follow that same model probably over this weekend. Any suggestions as to what I can do to improve that particular placement, or is it about as similar as I'm going to be able to get them?

I really appreciate the advice from people who helped before. It's just so nice actually seeing such small changes make a difference literally within hours of making them. :)

    Thanks!

    Jenn

Yeah, just like any way to make money, when your adsense income rises daily, it is something to get excited about.
    Even a buck or two!!

True, I make more accidentally on my product sites, but the few sites I have adsense on, I enjoy seeing the rising income.

I keep wondering, as I have programs sitting in my computer to do this, if I should throw caution to the wind and use those programs to start creating hundreds of adsense sites and hundreds of blogs with adsense.

Then everyone can come here and bash me for being an adsense spammer!
But then, if I create a ton of adsense cash, I can laugh out loud at the comments.

    LOL

HAH ! I wish I made .35 cents a day. Most of my days I see about less than .25 cents :(

But I get very few impressions...

It's funny how slight, subtle changes can multiply earnings. Congratulations on your success! Every dollar counts...
