    Hi all

Please look at my forum http://www.clinicalresearchforum.com and comment on the ad placement. Right now it is at 1% CTR with #3 CPM.
    Thanks

Nice colours, but very small in size. You could certainly improve it to achieve a higher CTR (eg. ad units under your posts for example).

Great placement! One of the best I seen! I even click on your ads by mistake. =p
Just remove the ads under the search box.

Thanks !!! I will remove the ad that is just underneath the search box. I get very good ctr from the ads you mentioned you clicked on accidently and understandably so :) I am just building a quality community right now and it is paying off. My alexa rank has gone into the 200k mark for the last week. Considering that the site started in Dec 07 only, please do comment if it is doing well in terms of gaining popularity. For me the adsense revenue is just for the upgradation of the forum into a full portal in the future.

I am wondering if there are other forum webmasters wanting to let us know what positions and approach work best for ads - for guests, new joiners and for regular loyal visitors.

    Thanks again

Wow, really good placement, make sure you check the guidelines though....i think what you are doing may be borderline not cool. I could be wrong tho
