Optimizing for a Quicker Load

    Hey guys,

    I am in need of some help. Basically, I own www.sims3fanatics.com and it's getting quite popular. One thing that is holding me back and people is the fact that it takes ages for pages to load.

    Please can you take a look at what is wrong and see if you can help - it's running on Wordpress but I don't think that's it. I have contacted my host and they can't seem to help so please let me know of anything that could be useful.

    Firefox v3.5.5, so can u write down more tech.
    info about currently used ads/blocks/modules?
    Which host/plan u're using, count of daily visits?

    I can't even get the website to load. But once it does, it comes up fine and quick. I'm thinking it's more of a server issue. What's the load on this server? It may be overloaded.

    edit: Whoa, the front page is over a meg in size. That's huge. Half of that is for 4 images:
