Optimizing PNGs as GIFs and JPGs

    So, basically I have a PNG with the color depth the way I want it. I don't want it to become flat if I save it as a GIF or JPG, how would I go upon achieving this?

    open it in photoshop and use Save for Web -- and set the quality settings and save.
