Original business ideas thread

I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we post original business ideas we've encountered.

You can choose one of their actors and send a script of what you want them to say, then the company makes a flash video of this with a transparent background. The result is that you have a real human spokesperson that stands on top of your site, saying what you told them to say. It makes your site appear professional and personal at the same time. The downside is the video starts playing every time the page loads. You can stop or mute it but it's still annoying. They should provide an option to only play it once per ip address.

man, its way cool, the price's a lil steep for starting out sites though..

 

I saw this idea a few years again at the Internext convention. It was pretty interesting but it was not this company. At their booth, you could even do a promo and they would immediately put it on the web so you could see what it might be.

But on a consumer side, I despise those sites, especially www.sitepal.com. I usually have my volume turned down / off now just because of this sound invasion.

 

It is good to have new ideas.

 

It appears to be a good business idea. May require good advertising to start with.
