Original or pirated version--which one do you use?

just wondering..save room on hard drive..and anything downloaded could be scanned and kept separate from everything else.
Didn't think it would be possible...then again i never tried it...
and yes it was a question unrelated to cs2,..but limewire was brought up in this thread..

 

well yeah i get it i hate limewire only coz its so much prone to viruses than torrents they are much more safer i feel...

i have used limewire before tho and i doubt it wud run off usb..

 

Photoshop, legit. I started with a pirated version many years ago because I couldn't afford the real thing, but stuck to my principles and bought it when I could afford it. Not when I got rich or decided I could spare the money... I bought it as soon as I could afford it.

 

m using gimp + photoshop.M reseting(reinstall,clean everything etc) photoshop's trial time which is legal.

Well its only v7, CS2 wouldn't activate so meh

I hate using it, it's slow, and might have to switch to something else if it (idt it does) doesn't run on ubunutu

For quite a long time I couldn't afford to buy the original Photoshop but finally I did it. And I seem to be content because right now I can stick to my own principles and pay for what I get.

During my secondary school study, yes, i used pirated version as a teaching tool for my learning and as soon as I got my first job, I purchased full version of all software application.

Is easy to get pirated copy either from your own country or through online serial key generator.

I think you know where I mean....

 

hehehe.during my school,I'm using pirated copy...learn a lot from photoshop.I NEVER use photoshop for commercial purpose like doing design for clients etc.

But now,I'm using trial version for one month--and try to gain more money to buy original version of adobe in one month .That's why I'm trying to find cheap adobe photoshop(If you can read my previous threadhttp://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=307915)

 

Pirated version

 

It seems that mostly everyone is using pirated version...

 

I'm just getting curious but please, tell me, those of you who used a pirated version and have now changed to an original one - what makes the difference for you? Why do you buy it after you've already had the experience with a copy?

 

If nobody buys it then the company make no revenue! Your only desrtroying it for yourselfs

Pirated versions ok if you are poor but if you can afford it then your a scumbag.

 

For more than two years, I've stuck to only original versions of the most of softs.

 

The main difference is that it's the right thing to do rather than the wrong thing.

I've also found genuine software to work better and be less hassle. I don't know how cracked software goes these days with online updates (it's been a very long time since I've used pirated stuff), but I'm glad I have the real thing - no worries for me

 

Not much different between pirated and and original copy.The quality is almost the same.But you get satisfaction when using original copy.Maybe you will said that I'm stupid because I spend hundreds just to buy original copy but hey,come on,why do people spends a lot just to buy original copy--because you will be satisfied if you buy original..

 

Adobe Creative Suite CS2 + Dreamweaver (soon upgrading to CS3) fully legal.

 

i used to have everything pirated. EVERYTHING photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, flash, indesign, maya unlimited
but now i do it professionaly and could afford to buy all of it

 

i use photoshop cs2. pirate product. i love it. haha!!
