osCommerce Question

For anyone who uses osCommerce, I have an important, but simple, question. I work with EastCoastAirsoft.com, and we are trying to figure out how to remove the subcategory links for some specific categories. For the Airsoft Guns, Accesories, and Tactical Gear categories, having the subcategories listed out is fine. But how do we remove the subcategory links from other categories, like External Parts, Internal Parts, etc.? It seems easy, but there does not seem to be a way to do it! The purpose of this is for the dual benefit of reducing the number of links on the page as well as increasing keyword density of other phrases. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Modify in code, includes->boxes- > categories box page which you are using.

use if statement to hide for which categories you dont want the subcategories.

 

So you do that by directly editing the code instead of going through the admin panel? Because I checked on the admin panel but I can't find anything like that.

 

Nobody knows how to do this! This is truly important for me, I will be willing to pay anyone who can successfully come up with a solution.
