Who knows... they have kind of been dying slowly. Maybe they are now officially dead if they were taken off the list (I think they used to be on it).

I found ALOT aroudn the web, but the people just arent as cool as they are here. Not to mention, no one responds to anything on the other forums. It gets boring really quick.

Thanks for the mention! I also published a list of forums found within the first three pages on Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask.

You can find it here: http://www.seoforumz.com/seoblog/index.php/archive/huge-list-of-seo-forums/

This forum is by far one of the most popular. It's reputation among users, members, and the SERP's is very good. I have found Digital Point to be one of the best overall SEO resources out there. The SEO tools are among some of the best currently available.

Another popular forum right now is SEORefugee. Although it does not appear on the SERP's between page 1 and 3, it is a very good source of SEO related information and fun. The members are both creative and welcoming to newbies and older SEO pros. Good mix of SEO and sense of community!

One of my favorite resources is not a forum, but a blog. The SEOmoz blog and site are great for anyone looking to gain more insight into SEO, search engines, or just web promotion in general. RandFish, the SEOmoz founder, has a great Beginner's Guide to Search Engine Optimization that is worth a read for anyone IMO.

Need even more? Well, maybe one more.

SEO-Scoop has a great informational blog. The writer, spends much time researching and reporting on industry news, Google news and other SEO related topics.

If you can't find what you need at one of these places, chances are you will have to dig really deep in order to find it (Or it is not SEO related)!
