Buying Overbooked, Need Writer To Pick Up Some Work

I picked up some short term jobs recently to fill in the dead space in my normal schedule of long term jobs. Some of these short term jobs have asked me to continue with them long term after being pleased with my work.

Some of the employers have given me permission to outsource so I am looking for a writer to help me out with my heavy work load.

I am looking for someone who can write lightly researched articles, typically 400-600 words per, in proper English for a general audience. Topics will vary but I won't assign any writing that takes more than 5-10 minutes of research.

    Requirements:
    - Capable of writing with minimal grammatical/spelling mistakes, using proper sentence structure
    - Must be reliable and complete work in a timely manner
    - Able to work 10-20 hours per week
    - High school level knowledge of the English language
    - Prompt with communications, replying within 24 hours

I will take someone who can only commit to 1-2 weeks of work but I would ideally like to work with someone who wants some part-time writing work over a long term (2+ months). It would be preferred that the candidate be an independent writer and not a company, but I will consider a company if the work is of the required quality.

A Native English writer is preferred but I will consider anyone who can write in English at a high school level. I don't mind a mistake here and there as I will be proofreading every submitted article.

I pay promptly via PayPal from my 2000+ Verified Business Account. If you do not have PayPal or would prefer it, I can mail a check. Rates and payment schedule can be discussed via pm.

Submission of articles and correspondence after hiring will be via email. No other form of communication is required at this time but use of instant messenger or Skype may become required at a later time, and are available at your request if you prefer communication beyond just email.

I am looking for someone who can get started this weekend, or by early next week at the latest. If you feel that this will fit your need for work, please send me a PM here on DigitalPoint. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you are wondering about anything related to this job offer.

It would help a lot if you could tell what kind of rates you are prepared to entertain.

Since its outsourcing how much are you planning to pay per article or per word/100 words? It would help if we knew that.

If this was just a small batch of articles I needed done, I would be happy to have quoted a rate, but I won't quote a rate for a long term job like this one.

If I quote a rate and a writer normally charges an amount above what I quote, that writer may agree to my quote because they want work today. After accepting my job, the writer is looking for other jobs because they want to be earning their normal rate. Tomorrow, next week, or next month they find a job that pays their rate, leaving me back where I started, without a writer.

I should have been clearer. I asked "what kind of rates" you wanted. Which only means that I want to know whether your job is like one of those that offer $1 per article.

Many a times I have replied to posts like yours and ended up having the "client" ask me for work once I quoted them my rates ( which are not high anyway, but the "client" wanted $1 per article or something like that).

Well, perhaps if you were a lil less evasive and a lil more forthcoming in regards to giving details, you wouldn't be finding yourself without a writer quite so often.
