Paid but no job apparently done

    I have paid a job from a DP user, directory submission, blog and yahoo answer. It had gread comments on his work so I gave him a try for $50.
    More than a month have passed and I have no report and, using Backlink Analizer V2 I see no additional link to my site.
    THe seller appears now as "banned".
    I guess the money is lost.
    Is DP using any way to stop this- It's an easy way to make money!
    Is there a way to give negative reports ?

    I would always suggest doing business with Paypal to Escrow.Just to be on the safe side.

    You should report to the moderator to ban this person. Never trust people who are new to forum as it could possibly be a scammer who just want to make quick cash.

    I'm not sure how long PayPal allowed us to open a dispute? If one month then I think there's no way you'll be able to get back your money. Unless the guy is good enough to give it back to you.

    I don`t think that you will get your many back once you paid him.. Maybe paypal will close his account but you kinda lost your money.

    You can leave them negative itrader so other users will be warned if they continue to try and do business.

    It may also just be a temporary ban, keep an eye open in case they come back.

    Since the person has already been banned, there really isn't much else to do, except doing a charge back with paypal.
