Paper Shredder Review Site ad placement questions

I have just redesigned my paper shredder review site.

The site was created in XOOPS and I have updated it to Joomla.

The site reviews just paper shredders and has a double right column layout.
I am also using chitika ads and Amazon Affiliate links.

Is this a good layout of an adsense site?
What could I do to improve the ad placements?

sites looks great...but the ad near the image maybe a little too close...

and the logo needs a change imo...other than everything looks nice...simple and clean...

I have emailed adsense about the use of the image and the adsense unit. We will see what they say.

Any suggestions to improve the logo?

the logo is not that important anyway...

but it wouldnt hurt to have one up there to jazz up the site a little bit specially in clean layouts like this...

 

I got the response back from Adsense and they said the image next to the ad unit on the home page was okay.

They also said my adsense units on the 404 pages were okay.

Thanks for bringing the image location up. I would have hated to violate adsense with out knowing it.

Logos: I usually take on the logo last mainly cause search engines don't care what the logo looks like. I need to update it, will probably find someone here to design one for me.
