People Hopper - latest Google Labs experiment - have a future?

    We came across Google's People Hopper - an app that allows Orkut users to morph their profile picture with a friends. Of course we had to test their image matching technology...we thought it'd be interesting to morph Monica Lewinsky & Hillary Clinton...check it out - http://www.suppliesguys.com/Blog/Peripheral-Visions/google-labs-presents-people-hopper

    But does this sort of image matching technology have a useful application or is it just a fun app to kill time?
