People, i really need your help.

I looked for a forum at google and found this, so hello everyone :>
i am in a big trouble. i need to make a big project for school
at english.
i chose to do about gambling.
of course the main thing i need to do is to write about gambling.
well, i wish it was so easy.
for an example, 1 of the things i wanted to write about is the history of gambling.
i looked hours over the net and didn't find anything significant.
everything is related to some spesific gambling, like poker,black jack etc.
couldn't find any history about gambling at generally.
what i need is your help for finding topics to write about.
all i have at the body of the work is a chapter about vegas.
do you have any odea about topics which i won't have problems looking
information about?

Wikipedia is a good place to start. About.com is also chock full of info (and ads).

 

thx but it has mostly only information about things like disadvantages of gambling and guides about casinos and gambling....

There are lohts of topics you could choose man. Just think of simple stuff. Somethign related to your interest.

 

While you write about history of Gambling, do write about the MIT Blackjack Team. For me that was the best execution of maths in gambling.

It would go down in the history.

You should watch the episode, if you have history channel. It was absolutely great. Amazon even has teh DVDs of this episode.
