Pete Burns is a Wraith!!

Seperated at birth -- Pete Burns and the Wraith from Stargate Atlantis??!

What do you think? Is Pete Burns, really a Wraith masquarading as an over-the-hill pop-star or has he carried plastic surgery a step too far?

In case you have no idea, Mr Burns is currently on a reality tv show in the UK called Celebrity Big Brother and Stargate Atlantis is a sci-fi series.

he is also in quite a lot of trouble by saying one of his animal skin coats is made from gorilla skin. Apparantly he could face 5 years for it.
Probably a publicity stunt though

 

Striking resemblance, apart from the fact Wraith's look more humanoid than ol' Pete and probably have a lower percentage of plastic in their make-up.

And I agree with sji, the Wraith looks more human than that guy. They probably tried too make the Wraiths more "monstrous" but that can only be accomplished by a frelling bad sense of fashion and a really bad plastic surgeon

Is Pete a dude or a dudette? Its really quite difficult to tell.

All I know is that SG:Atlantis is the red-headead stepchild of SG-1 and is pretty bad. Battlestar Galactica is far better

 

I used to run the dead or alive Website and I met Pete Burns and Steve Coy in 1996. He's actually not quite so scary in person but he hangs around some pretty scary people. He likes to look and dress like a girl but he's not into actually having 'female parts'. Steve is the opposite, he's pretty normal. They're both nice people. It's a shame they don't produce any music anymore... Pete has never been interested in being marketable.

 

Dead or alive - didn't they write "you spin me right round baby right round..."

I remember hearing an interview with them that they grew to hate that song cuz it was played so much and everyone requested it at concerts.

 

Yes, Pete hates that song because it's all everyone ever requests. They haven't really produced anything new in the last 10 years. They made a lot of great music from the mid-80's to 1990. The made some good material in the 90s but it never saw a Sony release and Pete's image and lyrics became increasingly less marketable. They managed a greatest hits Sony release last year.

I think Pete just recently divorced his wife Lynn (yes i know it seems strange, he WAS married).

I have a friend who has been running the site for several years and keeps in good touch with those guys. I just looked at some photos from Big Brother and Pete definitely has had a lot more plastic surgery since I saw him 10 years ago.
