    Yeah man, congrats...

1,000 was a bit of a hurdle for me too...

It was a while ago now though...

It's been a while since I've been online (3 or 4 weeks now), but I see Anthony has managed to accumilate another 2,000 odd posts in my absense.
    Any of it interesting? :D

Welcome back SE! We missed you around the place.

Yes, AC got like 2,000 posts in a short amount of time since he has been camping out in the Coop forum.

None of it worth reading...You know what AC is like..Go check out his leaving thread. It lasted all of a few hours.

Good to have ya back. x

Yep, I'm afraid a lot of people think it would be nice to have a website, then they come to me asking all these questions and requesting a quote. I spend time doing up a quote and then they don't even get back to me.

I had a roofer guy that was supposed to meet me on Friday but didn't even turn up or phone to say he wasn't coming... not very professional. I don't mind though because at the moment I've got plenty of work. :)

I used to build sites for that kind of client...

Builders, interior designers, property developers etc...

It's a lucrative industry when you find clients who actually understand what the service you are offering is.

It can be a right royal pain in the arse trying to explain what you're actually going to do for them though (In my experience anyway)...

I stopped building sites like that when a couple of clients welched on paying me for the work I did...

Yep, I'd definitely be asking for a 20% deposit for that type of business. They usually carry their IN money in their left pocket and their OUT money in their right pocket... That's if they're organised. You've got to love stereotypes. ;)

    I didn't realise I mentioned the welsh...

I was referring to a builder who didn't pay his bills.
