    I just want to cut the images.Should support psd and other formats

    Paint Shop Pro.. Run by Corel, Easy to use, basically as good if not better than photoshop

    Illustator for best quality images, illustrator is the best program in the market if u know how to use it

    I would recommend GIMP because it is free. It has many effects and overall is a powerful tool, but I wish it had a nicer interface.

    You want something different than Photoshop, but if you want to create high-quality pics you need Photoshop. Well, it's not the original one, it's Photoshop lightroom. This is probably the best photo oriented software so far.
    Just give it a go.

    GIMP i have never used it but it seems very similar to photoshop and have read many great reviews on it, give it a try you have nothing to lose

    I m using Ulead Photoimpact.It ıs simple and useful.You can use easily. İt looks like photoshop but you can learn it quickly.

    Paint.NET is more user-friendly than GIMP, I don't know if it can open PSDs though..

    Paint is a terrible program imo and in the opinion of most. I'd never use it and definitely wouldn't recommend it (for anything)
