Photoshop Colour Adjustments - Can you change to any colour you want ?

    I have a small problem where I am trying to change the colours to a certain hex code in photoshop.

    Am I doing it right ?

    Image > Adjustments > Replace Colour

    I can change to certain colours but when I want to change to an exact coded colour it changes to a similar colour but not the exact one I want.

    Would it have to do CMYK colour mode ?

    I hope someone can help...thanks :eek:

    Its ok I figured it out.

    I think the colour I was after was "out of gamut" which means that in CMYK mode this colour is not available to commercial printers....or something like that...lol
