Photoshop Custom Shapes

Discussion in 'Photoshop' started by Drew007, Aug 6, 2007.

I installed about 100,000+ custom shapes and now PS uses too much memory and takes forever to load. I tried simply removing the shapes from the presets folder but apparently PS wants me to manually delet each one from within PS.

    Any shortcut?

Find the folder where the shapes are located and delete them all.

Try deleting them from ALL possible sources from your computer. If not, you'll need to try to restart the brushes somehow (most likely it'll freeze..)

why did you install over 100,000 PS Shapes???

search the name of one of them on your computer, delete everywhere u find it, and the rest will probably be there as well

or try increasing your page file or scratch disk. I had that happen to me once with plugins luckily i had another acct on the pc and i just imported scratch disk from that profile. Into the one that wouldn't load. Maybe you can try if it's an option for you.

That is a ton of brushes... I think your best bet is to uninstall photoshop completely and reinstall.
