    Hi there,

    I have a following basic question of Adobe Photoshop.

    How to increase/decrease the size in pixels of any selection in photoshop.

    Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Do you mean expanding/shrinking the selection area?
    Try Select > Modify

    Once you have your selection, click on Edit / Transform / Scale. Then hold the Shift key while you drag in or out from one of the corners. If you drag form either the sides, or top/bottom, you will distort the image.

    It depends how you want to change the selection. IF you want to do it manually, bric002 is right in terms of Edit/Transform/Scale etc - but if you want it to be precise, then go to Select > Modify > Contract/Expand.

    also under select / transform selection, if you hold alt while dragging a control point it will scale the opposite side in conjunction with the one you are moving. kind of like a 2D transformation.

    i suggest selecting what yuh want to increase/decrease and press CTRL+T
